The past seven days have not been the best. Several of the last seven days I have not been getting my calories burned goal for different reasons. Yesterday I drove three and a half hours to my Nephew's Master's degree ceremony. We ate snacks as I drove. The graduation was long. Afterwards we attended the customary celebratory dinner at an upscale Hibachi grill. I tried to be smart and got the Shrimp and Flounder Hibachi. It came with rice, veggies, tossed salad and a shrimp appetizer. The food was good but one of the saltiest meals I have eaten in a long time. After arriving back home late at night I was tired and hungry. I grabbed the wrong foods for a quick fix, cookies and hit the candy jar hard... The struggle continues...
154.8 lb Lost so far: 30.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

The struggle is real, for sure. Flush out all that salt and carry on :) And super congrats to the nephew and his accomplishments!

Going for long periods without food sometimes hits me hard on the day after. Since my regular workday foods are scheduled then I eat regularly and within a calorie count. On weekends it's eat when I find time and on Sunday night it's lock the fridge and hide the keys time. When I go out to eat I pick the low cal meal and split an appetizer. If I went to a hibachi I might eat something bad but the appetizer would go away. Either way I log it.

Dang sugar...so bad for us yet so hard to say no to...I am speaking for myself there...I know it's not healthy for me yet still I fight to limit my consumption...John, just wanted to let you know you are not alone...have a great weekend and Sunday!!
