I haven't measured for ages! Guess I will do that soon, but not today! This day is full already. Off to church and then off to a family birthday party. No cake for this girl!! I can have fun without it.

This reminds me that I need to measure too! I feel a lot smaller even though the scale hasn't changed much.

That is entirely possible, Tiffany. The body's composition tends to change when doing LCHF, meaning that you gain muscle mass (even if not strength training) and lose body fat. This sometimes will equal out the weight on the scale, but is a positive change.

I hit many plateaus and the scale wouldn't budge for two-three weeks, and without any change in course weight would start peeling off. Hang in there and celebrate all victories!

The scale isn't a regular part of my routine, I know that what I'm doing is working and the idea of stepping on the scale even just a couple of times a week just seems like a big discouragement to me. I'm sure it could be a handy tool for making slight adjustments but my philosophy going forward is that this lifestyle change is permanent and I don't intend to keep an eye on the scale forever. Eat right and exercise as habits and the scale will move over time. 2 inches gone seven days in is astounding, great job!

Thanks, guys! @adamevegod, I know my "woosh" is coming. :) I agree, Phil. I do weigh in, but I take the reading with a grain of salt. I feel so much better with this WOE, and that's much more encouraging than any number idiot box.
