I did much better with my daily goals last week and beat my steps goal by 6000 steps!
I weighed in during the week and twice say 157, but then spiked right back up again over the weekend. My body really seems to like sitting at about 160. I remember a day when my body really liked to sit at about 140. With as much as I have tried to focus on health and not deprivation with this journey, I am starting to think that I may have to be super strict for a couple weeks to break away from the 160 zone.
Every Sunday I reflect on the past week in my personal journal, and pull a Tarot card (or 4) to set my mindset for the week ahead. This Sunday I pulled Travelling. It is a reminder that life is the journey. If you are only focused on the destination, you miss life.
I am having some trouble reconciling my strong desire to break free of the 160 weight range and .... oh wait. It just hit me. I need to make "super strict" enjoyable! Or as I sometimes say In Joy(able)! I need to find fun ways to eat within my target. I need to focus on the joy of movement. I need to celebrate health!
