Just finished week 4. I really went off script this weekend. I didn't go crazy and over-indulge, but I did not track my intake or do my exercises to keep my body strong and flexible. I allowed my personal health to come second after taking care of others. This is my biggest challenge. For 2 days I was happy and having some fun, but never prioritized my own health over everything else. Today I am more stiff, I have less energy, and the scale was up 8 tenths of a pound from where I was Friday. So instead of weighing in at what likely would have been a 3 lb drop for the week, I am down 1.5. The natural consequence of my choices.

So, here I am recognizing that this is my hardest challenge. This morning I will do my stretches, then do a judgement release practice I picked up from Gabby Bernstein, followed by a short meditation. I still have a ton to get done today and I am very late getting started. However, I am not going to choose anything over taking care of me first. Taking care of me is the only way I have the sustained energy to take care of my family, my clients, and the space around me.

My wins were many this week, and I need to recognize myself for that. I had 7 daily goals with 3 overall goals for the week. Of 49 possible gold stars, I earned 36 stars. Of my 3 weekly goals, I hit 2. Considering I basically ignored my goals for 2 days, that's not bad. (Just looking at Monday - Friday I earned 33 out of 35 stars)

Oh and by the way, yes I do actually give myself a star for every goal hit. :) I also paint my toenails a new color when I hit my steps goal for the week. This will be 2 weeks of chipped old toenail paint, so I better get it this time!

This week I will take Mid day Christmas Eve through Christmas Day Off from tracking. I will make good choices and enjoy the day relaxed. All goals remain the same. They are attainable.
162.5 lb Lost so far: 3.5 lb.    Still to go: 32.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I keep a 5x7 card on my desk with my daily and weekly goals on it. It's fun to get to the end of the day and see if I have filled up my card. It's sort of a way to pat myself on the back when I fill up all the little boxes with stars. :)

I love how you reward yourself for your weekly step goal. You will get back on track with those fun and creative rewards.
