Char Gets Thin's Journal, 19 July 2013

And a Happy Friday to y'all! Yep, I'm back to my normal self...well, normal with a hurt toe. :D But I can walk now, just making sure that I wear enclosed shoes to protect that poor little pinky toe! lol

And my weight gain was just fluids, which I had figured, but it's so good to KNOW! I managed to drop 1.4 pounds for the week, so I'm a happy camper today! :D Surprising though, I said the heck with it last night, and for dinner I FRIED (ok, so only 3T of oil, but STILL!) some bay scallops, and made myself a baked potato with 2tsp of light butter! I so seldom eat carbs for dinner, it's always meat, veggies and a salad. lol Guess I lost weight by shocking my body! lol Whatever is was, I'll take it!

And tonight starts the weekend. Many people have a hard time on weekends, so I hope y'all have your plans ready to put into action! Personally, weekends are hard for me, but then I have no kids at home, either.

Great job! My weight has been up and down like crazy this week due to the heat, but mostly down so I'm optimistic for my weigh in Monday. I also find that sometimes when I splurge and just eat, my weight seems to drop. The human body makes no damn sense! :-) Scallops sound delicious!!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Super! Sorry about your pinkie toe still hurting though. Yes scallops do sound delicious. I like the big sea scallops. One time I had lion paw scallop (really big) and it was so fantastic. Don't normally see them in the store. A driver friend got some. Have a wonderful weekend :-)
