Shoot, darn, phooey! I knew I shouldn't have eaten that popcorn last night. I hope this weight gain is from retaining water & increased muscle mass and because I'm working out hard & all that good stuff. I have been eating more than I should, but I was pretty sure I was burning it off.

No worries, I'm still under my goal weight & some or all of the added weight will probably just disappear soon. Especially if I stop eating the extra stuff.

Another beautiful day here; a light coating of frozen fog over the world again this morning, like the finest powder snow you could imagine. It turned the wetlands into and ethereal place where magic seemed possible. The birds were waiting on the deck this morning; must take them extra energy to stay warm during this colder weather. A smaller squirrel showed up & seemed really happy to find sunflower seeds; I could almost swear he was eating them mindfully.

Now the sun is shining brightly & it's a pleasant 39 degrees out.

Did my two Zumba classes this morning; it sure is great having a workout buddy; actually several, but one more-so than others.going to see if I can manage to go to CXWORX before willPower & grace tomorrow 'caus my buddies plan on being there. It feels weird not to go to Silver Sneakers Strength butI really like doing other classes; kind of like graduating. :o)

Drinking an extra cup of coffee today to try to get up the gumption to make those whole wheat oat bran banana muffins before the bananas become trash instead of overripe fruit perfect for making the muffins just sweet enough. It would be nice to have some to take to my sister.

I should also go to the store & buy veggies; didn't feel like going on the way home from the gym - didn't want to shop hungry; can be dangerous! That's probably how I ended up with the regular sized bags of jolly time healthy pop kettle corn instead of the 100 calorie bags. My off switch wouldn't work last night & I ate the whole bigger bag; only 260 calories, but for heavens sake! 100 calories would have been plenty. Then I found those darn 90 calorie fiber one brownies in the pantry & had one; tut tut! No wonder my weight is up.

OOh, just saw a hummingbird out by a cedar tree. I want to get a hummingbird feeder if we can find one that won't drip sugar water & attract ants. They loved my pineapple sage plant when it bloomed gorgeous red blossoms; hovered around the deck & endlessly amused Beau & us.

Enough nattering on; I need to get up & move around. Shakira is playing on the Pop Latino station & I always feel like moving to her music, plus I need to get stuff done.



132.5 lb Lost so far: 69.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes though I'd like to weigh under 130 at least for a couple minutes, just to see what its like, ha ha. I see my doctor in a week, and it would be nice if I could have a good weigh in then; though I think she's happy with where I am. I did tell her about wanting to see the 120s at least briefly, & she smiled & told me to be careful & pay attention to my energy levels & how my partner see's me. She know's I'm addicted to exercise & is probably concerned that I might push it too far. My body as a way of rebelling if I push it to hard, and I have this awesome support system here on FS where I'm pretty honest about how I'm doing. You all would call me on it if I posted a too-skinny picture. With my appetite, its unlikely that would ever happen, lol.

Nothing wrong with a healty appetite. Your active body needs the fuel to keep it going! Just a thought on the bananas: If you don't have the time to use them, just peel them & pop them in the freezer. They freeze a treat & stay perfect for up to 3 month. Have a great day :)

Hey KitKat! I finally bought two birdfeeders yesterday (asked MH in a moment of weakness. We have hummingbird feeders but last summer it only attracted wasps :-( I shopped hungry yesterday and binged on CELERY - weird huh! Either that or the grapefruit I had helped me take off that 3lbs of water weight overnight that I picked up from (sodium) chicken soup on Sunday.

Let's not beta ourselves up over a 260 calorie bag of popcorn, I thought at first when you said you at popcorn I was thinking a whole bag or bucket at the movies, which we all know is sacrilegious. Take two Zumbas and call me in the morning :) You show that body who's boss. You are very inspirational, thanks.

Thanks, all! I did make the muffins with the bananas; yummy. If the new ones I bought get really ripe before I eat then, I'll peel & freeze them good for smoothies, too. Bella, if I binged on celery my jaw would really hurt,, but that would be a good place to put the spicy peanut butter I'm thinking about buying, lol. Ramjet, very funny, cool! I think I'll take CXWORX & willPower & grace; that just doesn't have the same ring to it. :o)
