The best thing is that you track your data. This allows you to make objective decisions. Priceless! Good luck!

What I'm learning is that I have to up my calorie count as I increase the gym workouts just so my body has the fuel to grow stronger

I was a personal trainer for years-- you want to go get L-Glutamine powder. It is an amino acid that aids in muscle recovery and also has some digestive benefits. Mix it with water or a smoothie or whatever and drink WITHIN 15 minutes of your workout-- that is important, or else it won't get absorbed very well.

L-Glutamine will make it so you don't need to take anything the next day. Start off with 5000mg and see. You might still feel something the next day, but nothing like you are now.

Definitely agree with Chris on this, grabbing some protein and pain pills really helps me...not that my workouts are on the same level as you guys but...they're intense for me lol!

My weight went up every time my muscles ached. I figured it was just water for muscle repair. I started expecting it. It happened every single time.

I eat some carbs before my workout (fruit or something easy like that) then afterwards will eat protein like eggs (super easy cuz I’m lazy). I know I still have weight to lose—and since upping the carbs and cals been gaining wt. dunno if it’s muscle or not can’t tell. I feel puffy in the tum
