I have been feeling like absolute crap. I haven’t cheated or anything. Only difference I had added miralax into my diet and it didn’t help. Bought test strips to make sure I was excreting the ketones which it’s positive for. But this gain which I know is only a few pounds making me feel like pure crap.

We live and die by the scale often. And yet if we watch closely on a chart of someone who lost weight we would likely see a lot of ups and downs. Body does weird things and hang on to water. It is natural and it is not fat. It comes off again quickly. What were the ingredients in Miralax? If you are constipated you can add more vegetables. I also take magnesium and Vitamin C to help

try upping your water intake. senna tea is helpul for constipation. It is called dieters tea at the local grocery store.

Hang in there - a gain can be depressing but you can look at it in your overall picture and remember you can deal with it - unfortunately this process has ups and downs but YOU CAN DO THIS! I sure hope you find the relief you need and feel better soon. Take care

I tried ultimate cleanse from natures secret and it worked without pain or any discomfort

Not sure what the problem is from your post. I tried adding fiber but found it made things worse. Mineral oil is my friend, along with the various remedies others suggested.

Ya I cut out the miralax. I feel like I somehow kicked myself out of ketosis becasue now day 2 I’m getting the headache and massive bloating and feeling blah. Idk that was the only thing I changed. For 6+ months now been trying and doing the same things. My body is revolting! I’ll try senna and more water. I’ve been hearing magnesium a lot. Mineral oil ? I’ll check that out! ❤️

when I get backed up I get a headache too and generally feel bad all over. It is a bad feeling.

Maybe short of electrolytes? That can cause headaches, dizziness, fuzzy thinking and constipation.

That is another reason why it is good to take magnesium (but also enough salt, some potassium and calcium)

I was reading about senna and long term use. I didn’t think anything of it but maybe I’m using them too much. The symptoms seem similar once someone has stopped taking laxatives. Good grief !

Yep, my system was running along just fine until the doctor told me I had to add fiber to my diet. "Fiber" is not a necessary nutrient unless you eat carbs. If you are eating keto or fasting, salad is enough with water, water, water! Eskimos, for instance, lived long healthy lives before they were introduced to Western diets.

And those Eskimos ate keto because there weren't any carbs available
