I had spent over six months trying to get past the 270 mark and who knew lowering my carb intake would do the trick!
269.2 lb Lost so far: 26.8 lb.    Still to go: 109.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 14 June 2018:
1540 kcal Fat: 112.46g | Prot: 103.68g | Carb: 34.22g.   Breakfast: Calavo Avocado, Premier Nutrition High Protein Shake - Vanilla. Lunch: Pepper Jack Cheese. Dinner: Cooked Mushrooms (Fat Not Added in Cooking), Puerto Rican Style Shrimp in Garlic Sauce (Camarones Al Ajillo). Snacks/Other: Fresh Lime Juice, Tajin Clasico Seasoning, Cucumber (Peeled). more...

That’s it exactly! The first thing Your body will burn is carbs. If you don’t give it any it has to burn something else for energy. Pro Tien is next I think and then fat. Or maybe I have them switched. We do need some carbs, But overdoing it pretty much kills the weight-loss program. Good shedding!

Good job! Look up Atkins, Keto, South Beach diet, Paleo, hell even the Mediterranean diet! They will all give you guidance in the low carb way of eating. Mediterranean and South beach are probably the most balanced. I’m on Keto rn

I am trying out the Keto diet (5 days now) and I have lost 7 Lbs 😀 and at the end of the day I don't feel like I am starving myself to loose weight

That’s great! Measure yourself too! You might be plesently surprised how many inches you’ll lose even when the scale slows down
