Had a keto breakfast for dinner with 90-second almond flour bread, eggs, bacon, and Walden Farms syrup!

Hey maybe you could give me an advice please...I am on the keto diet for almost 2 weeks and I actually put weight...Usually I eat - breakfast: 2 slices of bacon + 2 sausages + 1 tomato / Snack: 70g brie cheese / Lunch: 150g Minced beef + 140g broccoli / Snack: 30g brazil nuts / before the gym: tuna + 1 tbs mayonnaise / dinner: lettuce / tomato / cheese and minced beef ...it usually around 2200 kcal per day...am I doing something wrong? All dishes I use butter to fry etc... Many thanks for your help in advance

Hi NikkiBl, I know you have asked me, but may I answer? Watch your vege carbs, they aren’t free carbs, also be wary of sausages as they often have fillers like soy meal which isn’t Keto, tomatoes also have carbs. Basically keep an eye on your macros, most people beginning start with approximately 70% fats, 25% protein and 5 % carbs You can take the fibre carbs off the sugar carbs to get your net carbs? I think it is called. Try not to go over 20 grams of net carbs, I hope this helps

Hi, thank you so much for your help. My net carbs usually is around 18g per day..I will keep my eyes about the sausages. I was wondering if maybe I am wrong about eating a lot of cheese?!Thats usually my macros: Carbohydrate (5%) Fat (75%) Protein (20%) - it is from what I ate yesterday and usually stays like that...Maybe I am eating a lot of kcal?! like yesterday it was 2170kcal... I really enjoy eating keto, but I need to know what I am doing wrong..I put 1kg in a week :(

Keto will work only if go low calories otherwise body start converting ur muscle mass glucose (in liver) so u ll lose muscle instead of fat

Thank you :)) So anything above 2000kcal is too high for the diet? I find it hard to eat fat and control the calories, since fat do have lots of kcal ;(

With Keto, you should not be having any type of breads. Be careful, just those small idiosyncrasies can throw off all the hard work!
