yup, kind of obvious here, things aren't going quite as I had hoped the weight was starting to come off and then the boyfriend decided that we're going to order out the Friday of that week, as we do every Friday., he asked me what I wanted and I told him I wanted a sandwich from Subway because they are healthier than the junk that we always order ( Chinese or pizza), not only that but I'm sick of pizza and Chinese I need something different and fresh but he overruled me and ordered pizza and then Pizza the next week and then Chinese and then pizza and then Chinese you get the gist of what I'm saying. and every Saturday as I start trying to recover and get back on track I failed because he wants to make sure there's something in the house that we have leftovers from and that turns into my breakfast on Saturday and then he decides he's going to cook a big meal on Saturday and Sunday and it just hasn't been working out for me and he's noticing that it's not working out for him either. at this point my plan is to get through Thanksgiving and try to get back on track after that but that's going to be difficult because I do a lot of baking for Christmas and along with the baking comes to picking and snacking. I make 7 different kinds of cookies and 2 to 3 batches of each kind along with three kinds of candies and fudge. yes the baking is a real pain in the rear end but I make cookie plates for all of the family for the holidays it's much cheaper and easier than trying to afford and buy gifts for each individual person., but it does take a toll in the end on my rear 'end'.., lol. so please wish me luck and getting through this holiday without adding more than 5 lb because at this point I know that's going to happen, but hey starting January 1st all of the junk food and baking will have been done and already handed out to the family so the Temptation should not be there and hopefully the boyfriend will get HIS head on straight as well and we both can start getting on track about eating healthier (without him insisting on fried foods and wings every Friday)..., Anyway, Happy upcoming Turkey Day everyone!

This time of year is so hard! I do a lot of baking too and have been dreading the snacking and picking too. I think this year I'm going to find a healthy alternative that I can make before I bake, that way I can snack on that and not the cookies and candies. We'll see if it works, but hey it's worth a shot! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Perhaps, as he's now realizing that it's not working out for him (either), y'all will (together) sit down and discuss stuff... and get your rears in gear? Stay strong, despite the candies, please.

I just begin my journey and I'm looking to drop 30 pounds I'm dreading the upcoming holidays also because you can't have Thanksgiving which is my favorite holiday without the big plate of holiday food and my mother-in-law's Thanksgiving is the best ever and she makes cookie plates for everyone so I'll be receiving cookies that I won't want to eat because I'm trying to watch calories making a healthy snack for yourself before you begin the big sounds like a solid idea might I suggest Triscuits and hummus it's one of my favorites and it's full of protein and fiber as well as satisfying the salty Savory craving I tend to get
