rhontique's Journal, 25 September 2016

Our dear neighbor is now in the presence of his Lord. He was 89 and lived a good life. We will miss him, but can't wish him back in the condition he was in. DH and I spent the day at an estate auction yesterday. We both found a few treasures. It was hot and I got overheated and I think dehydrated as well. Suddenly I got very dizzy, everything got very bright and sparkly, and I felt nauseous. I hurried over in the shade and sat down for awhile. Then went and bought something to drink. Glad I didn't pass out and make a scene! Worse part they sold a couple of things I had my eye on while I was away! Darn it!! Today we go celebrate a young neighbor's graduation from college. He is a great kid!

Sorry for your neighbor's wife. It is hard for the ones left behind. This time of year is easy to get dehydrated. I have a friend in Oklahoma that happened to. He was sick for a couple days after as well. Please be careful. Glad you're ok.

I can't help noticing that your dietary input and to be very low. Is that all you are eating? I would be permanently passed out on that!

Sounds like the old fellow was well loved. May we all leave the world a little brighter for the love we left behind.

Yes, heidij123, I am logging everything. I'm not losing nearly as fast as I had hoped with this small amount of calories. *sigh*

I think there is a limit to what your body will part with on a daily basis. But be careful eating that little long-term, it's not really good for your overall health. Your body will have a tendency to lose muscle mass, and hang on to fat reserves if you eat like that, and you may be short of some micro-nutrients. It's called malnutrition. Take care.
