Well, I'm officially stupid.
I got home from grocery shopping which included a container of meringues. I decided I would eat a few while watching TV. Well a few turned into the entire container. Surprise. I should have known better then to eat out of the container. When I realized how much I had eaten I found myself to be angry with myself. So what did I do? I made it worst, and purged. I haven't done that in a long time. I don't want to do that, it's a cycle that only leads to problems. So for doing it again, I'm officially stupid.

Don't be mad. It's not productive. Use this to learn from it. Have a plan at the store to prevent buying things tempt you. Think of what you will eat instead of something that sounds good. After a rough week i had to make a list. For example, if i want chips, I'm letting myself have pork rinds. I understand the urge to purge, but it does more harm than good in the long run. He createdyou for a purpose. Rmember your body is worth better treatment.

I understand, OalannaO, I overcame Bulimia/Anorexia as a teen/young adult. Sometimes I still find myself wanting to purge when I overate/binged, and I have to remind myself of how that cycle goes...how I get trapped in it and sometimes may not get out for months. It causes major health issues-the binge/purge cycle. We care about you. He loves you. You are not stupid even though sometimes you may feel it. Please try to stop yourself, even though it's hard, and like bd said, make a grocery list, it makes the shopping trips SO much easier!

Meringues are like air, right? No wonder you had to eat the whole box! 😉 You are very hard on yourself, young lady. As wonderfully supportive and understanding as you are to me, I know you can find some of that love and show it to yourself and forgive yourself 😇 You are worth a second, third, fourth, and fifth chance!

You are NOT stupid. If I recall correctly, you are dealing with some difficult medication and health issues that make this weight/eating thing more challenging for you to navigate. I think you are very brave for prioritizing the most important health issues and sticking with the necessary medication, even as it frustrates you by making other aspects of your life more challenging. You are putting yourself out there in the world in a positive way, at a minimum on this site and interviewing for a new job. You are beautiful, brave, motivated, and most definitely not stupid.

you are not stupid!!! we have all been there. accept that you did it, and forgive for yourself. look at it as a lesson for the self, and move on! anger does not do good :-) take care!
