How do you cure a low carb headache? I've been taking ibuprofen since yesterday but it's still throbbing... Heeeelp!! I've been drinking water too!

Drink more water and add a 1/2 TEASPOON of salt. Its an electrolyte imbalance. Let me guess, you been being a lot more right? Its not the low carbs, its the Keto Flu. Seriously, go down a Liter of water. Smart water if you don't want to add your own Salt. I advise the salt though. As well as magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Which you can get a Electrolyte supplement from Walgreens Or CVS.

Yup yup, Patty knows the deal. I was ever so mercifully spared the keto flu. I have been supplemented for years being a lifter and all. And one time I DID let my sodium and h2o go too low, I ended up in the ER. Get your electrolytes in ya girl.

Keto flu is diverse. Headache is the number 1 symptom. your going to lose a lot of water weight very quickly. I lost 9 pounds in one day during the first week.
It will pass in about 4 or 5 days.

when my headaches get that bad I take excedrin tension headache formula but it may not help all

URG, I just got over keto flu.. I drank sprite zero (crap I know) and made hot cups of broth outta bullion which has loads of sodium and just "sweat it out" / Hang in there..

It's nice to be surrounded by fellow citizens of Ketonia. I use salt liberally on my food, it helps keep those headaches away.
