Siiiiiiggghhhhh.....annoyed....angry at myself...frustrated....Am I ever going to lose it and keep it off.....i really feel like just giving up. When u have been at this weight loss thing for 8 years and no success it just gets overwhelming. As soon as I lose it....I gain it right back. I am just sooooooo tired of failing. I excel academically. I am great at my job. I have got it together in every other aspect of life ......but losing weight is just next to impossible for me.
At least thats how it seems

I lose 30, gain 40.. lose 40 gain 50.. I can lose, just not keep it off. Every time I start again I say I'm not going to let that happen, but it has every other time. Hopefully I can do it this time... good luck to you. I'm not sure what diet you are trying, but I find counting calories the easiest for me

I agree with Fred4Win. You might want to research a good nutrition plan you can stick with if you hope to lose weight. Low Carb High Fat works for me and many other people here. I am not advertising but a great website to learn more is: www.dietdoctor.com

My advice is to log every single food every single day, forever...

I have been gaining and losing the same 30 pounds for over 30 year...but recently I lost 35, regained 10, but have kept the 25 off for 4 years! YOU CAN DO THIS1!

weigh and measure everything that passes your lips, you can have a free pass on water :) Seriously when your weighing and measuring accurately not with your eye balls or tired handfuls out of packets is when I find things really start happening. Never trust scoops that come with food always use your own measuring thingy, they want you to buy more to keep them in business accuracy isn't what they are interested in. Unlike most people I don't think it matters who's ideas your following but being consistent is the most important thing, you didn't get fat in a day or a week xx

I agree so much with logging everything. I did log EVERYTHING until I found that it just took up too much of my time, but from that experience I learned what a proper portion looked like and what I needed to eat so that I wasn't starving every 2 hours. I now use a VERY high level food log so that I can at least see what I was had and how I felt, but it's not so detailed that I'm tied to it. I'm happy to share it here - I have it up on my blog under freebies. I'm following more of a paleo/keto lifestyle, but this worksheet will work for anyone. Just modify it as you see fit. http://www.g7llc.com/iam/freebies/ Best of success!!! You can do this! oh, make sure to get enough sleep and water.
