Flabbergasted. I ate 2862 calories yesterday and kept stuffing myself until 11pm (three hours past my normal eating window) because I was trying to get in enough food to hit a 750 calorie deficit on a 3647 calorie burn day. I was so full I was uncomfortable. Woke up at 6:30, expecting to show the additional bulk (I sure do feel it)! But no... Weighed 213.6, down 1.4 pounds from this time yesterday. Flabbergasted, I tell ya. UPDATE: In meetings all day and had to bring work home so barely got 3 miles in today. But came home at a nice 212.6. That would have been 207 or 208 after working out. Will take a rest day instead (if you can call it that, working on reports on my computer!) So going for the 750 calorie deficit on the LOW sideā€¦ looks like I will eat about 1850 calories tonight on an approximate 2600 burn for the day.

Weigh again. Maybe it was a dream. I used to dream of eating things like the new thing in my Avatar at the end of a cut. Maybe you're dreaming of weight loss while eating 3600 calories in a day. I know I am. :)

I dunno, Bill. When I was on the Fast Metabolism Diet I ate all day long (nutritious food). It was part of the plan and the reasoning behind that was to keep the body's furnace stoked and burning up calories. It is a puzzle, isn't it?

You have got this down pat Draglist :) Several articles on CoachCalorie and MSN recommend eating an amount of nutrition heavy, hopefully not calorie dense, foods to keep the body from hoarding the calories, etc. It is that balance that is hard to do and to keep doing. The body keeps adjusting to keep the weight. Exercising does help. :)

Ah...the food bills! It is a shame veggies, nuts, fruits and meat cost more than pasta, rice and beans! The cost of eggs is getting higher as well. I look forward to seeing how this plan works out for you.
