i normally don't work out on Sundays but feeling kinda anxious bc tomorrow we find out if our car is totaled or fixable which has me on edge bc i feel like there is no winning here, only degrees of losing. So anyway, I was feeling edgy so I tore into my house and cleaned a already clean house, did some laundry and hit the park for a brisk walk. My heart monitor says I've been above zone for 752 minutes this week, which I consider a lot. Got my 10k a day at least 5 days this week and the scale is tipping closer and closer to 215.. which brings me closer to my goal everyday. My overall goal is 170 lbs but my mini goal im working on right now is just to get to 200lbs and Im 15lbs away.... the good thing about this no car deal is ive been walking my butt off and doubled the amount of walking I did the week before. If the car is totaled it will be a few weeks before we are in a new one so, more walking. Im sure my poor husband is tired of the bus but at least we live on the line and only a block from the house. He can use the walking as well. Finished the week strong diet wise. Wish me luck tomorrow with the car..Cheers everyone

Good luck with your car. It's never fun dealing with issues like that. At least you didn't turn to food for comfort. That's a win.

so know what you are going through; but, tougher if you don't have a second car. right after we bought a new vehicle, a deer totaled it; and the insurance wouldn't have made full coverage if we took money; so luckily it was fixable. We've had two deer and one vehicle cause three accidents for us in 5 years; last one we had to buy a different vehicle and we didn't have payments on it anymore. sometimes life sucks. However, you have done remarkedly well in dealing with the stress with exercise and tasks to take your mind off it. Feeling the accomplishment for that should help a little.
