Remember how I was going to do yoga? Instead, we moved some stuff out of the abyss, and I mopped my living room floor for the first time since construction started in January. So I opted for cardio via housework. Tonight will focus on chest, triceps, shoulders and abs -- which means pushups. Which means I will definitely need to pull my mat out of the pile of furniture on the porch. Even forgot to take my cough meds before bed -- wore myself out!

Today I'm thankful to be at my kitchen table (impossible to get to the table in the abyss that will function as my desk just yet). I have an appt tonight after work, for work, and am looking forward to it. Always fun to meet interesting people.

Lights are off for now -- it's apparently on the same circuit as the soon to be new ceiling fan...really makes no sense, as the one ceiling fan they have installed is running....the other ceiling fan to be is literally across the room. Crazy how the electrical was initially set up in this house. :)

So far keeping in the 1700 calories. Some nights it is definitely tough, as I am hungry. But I'm really trying hard not to go over 1700. The country fried steak suppers make it a little challenging...they are SOOOOOO good! I basically ate all the steak, a little cole slaw and about 1/4 of the serving of rice and gravy and nixed the bread. The dessert -- the coconut pie, I froze when I got home and ate 1/4 of it before the tornado-ish weather scared me into the laundry room. (Bad storms + me = big chicken)
