Happy to hear that i am not the only one foolishly eating brownie batter and no-bake cookies while supposedly trying to lose weight! !! Baby has been sleeping through most nights so i don't have the fatigue excuse just the cooped up at home excuse. Oh well..
something worked, i lost a couple of pounds...i think it was all of the oatmeal :) hooray for oatmeal and chocolate!

I baked chocolate coconut muffins this morning; I totally get your post!!! Yesterday, I took some dark chocolate wafers (supposedly for baking) up to my bedroom & let them melt on my tongue as I lay reading. Hahaha! I had at least done Pilates & Zumba yesterday; today I'm just baking, cooking, & using the computer, phone, & Kindle. Sigh. I'm also going to See's Chocolates later; they have a special deal to celebrate Mary See's birthday. They have these big chocolate chips...

Watch what you eat DFW. You eat the wrong thing and little man will make you pay. All I want is a bowl of chocolate chip cookie batter. No, not the ice cream. A bowl of chocolate chip cookie batter.

lol, I know the feeling, being a sugar addict. However, I found out thin slices of apple (any kind) sprinkled with cinnamon powder help a lot...

Don't forget raw cookie dough has eggs and you could get salmonella poisoning. Before you laugh, it happened to my SIL and she spent 4 days in the hospital.

The thing I have found to overcome my craving for sweets is...2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter mixed with 1 tablespoon Walden Farms pancake syrup (no carbs, no sugars, no kidding). I add a tiny bit of salt as well because, simply, I am just addicted to salt and there is no substitute. But I keep it within reason. I spread this concoction within a tiny glass bowl which serves only this purpose. Then I eat with a tiny spoon, slowly. Yes this sounds like a lot of trouble, but sometimes I think it is the trouble which actually helps to satisfy the craving. I don't get to cook those cakes and cookies anymore, so whipping up this treat helps. I make myself "savor the flavor" and think about each tiny bite. Probably would be healthier eating that apple...but when I have consumed by PB, I am one happy and satisfied customer. Good luck with the sugar cravings. Overcoming is possible, but not always easy!

You had me at sugar, lost me at the giant Qtip thing.. I can't figure that out. I think it's subliminal because all the Halloween candy is already out turning on that sugar brain thing. I've been baking cobblers like crazy. I send them away after getting a serving for myself but there's something going on. Maybe it's that moon thing.

I think you're right about the temp drop & sugar cravings. It was cool here all day Saturday & it was really all I could do to fight the internal instinct to eat & pack on the winter blubber. I have to stay busy or it will be game on.

Hahaha, I totally got the giant q-tip battle thing. Hopefully baby squirt doesn't have a finicky tummy. I remember eating a cinnamon roll while nursing my oldest and he got colicky from it :(
