Head colds are not fun. Itchy face with lots of sneezing and nose blowing. Also a horrible case of brain fog. That's how I have been feeling. My oldest turned 11 yesterday and I just love the fact that have been blessed to be his mom. Funny story.. so yesterday I told the kids the needed to get in the van so we could go to their grandma's house. They continued to play outside though while I loaded up the van and got our 2 year old in the car seat. Then their Dad told them again they needed to quit playing and get in the van while I was loading it up. Almost everyone listened. I said I am seriously leaving you guys and got in the van. Asked if everyone had their seat belts on and left. Drove the 25 minutes to my mother in laws house and when I got there she called me and said are you missing any kids. I was like I don't know am I? She said you left Billy at your house and your husband is bringing him in town. I about died laughing. I said well I guess I will never have to threaten that I will leave him somewhere again. He had chose to keep playing anyhow and not even 10 minutes after I left the house his dad came outside to leave for work and Billy asked him if he was going to work. Cory was like I was why aren't you with your mom. He said I seen her leave I just thought she had to go to the gas station or something first. I never thought anything about it because he is always quiet in the van and he always is laying down in the seat trying to trick me like he isn't there when we leave to go somewhere. Guess I need to go back to doing a head count. I told my husband I was just making sure Billy 11th birthday was something he would never forget. Now back to my everyday life I am off to bake stuff for teachers and family today. Merry Christmas everyone.
