Oopsie. Ate a whole bag of granola, bagel, pizza, wings and minj-tacos. FS log is malfunctioning and recorded this as 15000+k.

On another bright note, tweaked the other side of my back this morning doing nothing. OK standing in the kitchen. Just felt that little clench and there it was. Just like always. Except on the right side. Not acute at all and not taking anything other than a stretch.

Bizarrely, I feel like this is progress. Strength is up. Tweaks, although more frequent of recent, are less acute. I am able to work through these minor issues with a combination of mobility work and persistence. I have found a number of power lifters recently (Alan Thrall) who advocate "working through" vs following the conventional wisdom and "resting." Works for me.

I really need to invest the time to upgrade my entire back mobility and strength program. I feel like I am missing something fundamental. Maybe simply a weak lower back and hip inflexibility? Thing is, I am squatting 275# ass to grass for reps at 198 or so, which puts my 1RM into advance territory for my age. (And yes yes, I have strict form per outside assessment.) How weak and inflexible can you be and do that? Anybody who has experience solving this type of thing, would welcome your input.

Jeff of Athlean-X sent out a YouTube last night addressing the proper depth of a squat with the science to back it up. My phone is off-line at the moment and I can't pull up the title of the video. Sorry, you are suffering with back pain.

Jimmiepop The name of the video is "How LOW Should You Squat (The Official Answer). You probably already know this, but it is all I can offer. Hope you're feeling better.
