Not sure what my weight is right now. ignoring the scale until next week. Maybe if I ignore it it will get lonely and be nice to me when I next pull it out of the dark closet. I did notice when I put on a tight pair of pants today that they were no longer tight. That means mire than hopping on and off the wicked scale. My husband is doing well at the nursing home. He's strength is increasing and he's really trying to do everything the physical therapist asks him to do. He wants to come home but I told him to please be a patient patient, don't rush it. We are going to have a meeting with his therapy team Thursday morning to talk about his progress so hopefully they might be able to tell us then a possible release date. Wish us luck.

Ohhhh, the scales must feel terrible in that dark closet, all alone. Know I had to do that with my scales too, and we got along well after that. I used a tape measure while my scales had it's time in the closet, and I think it felt jealous.

Glad the hubby is better. I guess I missed it, what did they figure out was wrong? I myself fit into a new pair of jeans today. A bit tight but the same size I wore from about 2006-2016. The fit of clothings tells us more than the scale :).

Doctors at the first hospital kept wanting to do a heart cath and put in stents. We both felt uncomfortable because they kept changing diagnosis two or more times a day. I called the VA who has his complete history. They told me to get him out of there and bring him to the VA hospital. They determined that the chest pain/pressure was due to acid indigedtion and some minor complications from his Parkinson's. He is now in a nursing home getting physicsl therapy to built up strength and stamina. The VA said the heart will benifit from these ecercise s and help with the bslance problems.

Wow. Good thing you called the VA! That should be some relief that it’s not a major heart issue. Glad he’s getting some help that will help him long term :).
