abbadabba's Journal, 29 April 2018

Oh it's chilly today! Going to yet another play with my daughter as one of the leads. It should be good. My other daughter and my mom are going with me. It's a little dinner theater.
Food is ok - I got a new hutch so gave the other one away for free. The people who came to take the old hutch gave me 3 loaves of bread. I really need to figure those breads into the plan for the week and then give the rest away. I think my daughters will like the bread - they can afford the calories. I find I can eat and eat bread but I don't get any full feeling from it. So I really have to watch how much bread I eat.
Moved some furniture out of the house into the garage and will either give it to my sister or else one of my friends who needs furniture. Trying to downsize - long story short, i am moving from 10 rooms to 6 and need to figure out what to keep.
Going to make black bean or chickpea chocolate waffles, flourless. They will be bread substitutes. I made some banana whole grain waffles last week and they were just what i was looking for bread-wise. I can make them with the ingredients that I have in my list with some honey for sweetener. I found the recipe too sweet actually because I also wanted to have them with pesto spread.
Off to clean my house some more and maybe get in a walk around the block to burn off the cake I am going to eat later!
Hope you have a good Sunday.

It's been chilly here today too - and predicted to be colder tomorrow. I won't be going out though. Hope you enjoy your daughter's play. You must be proud of her.
