so the other day I had a lovely bit of Haddock fish and it was low in kcal so today I decided I would have another lovely bit of fish but i would have salmon thinking it was just as low in kcal. ate my fish then decided to scan it in as lunch and nearly cried as it was nearly 3 times the kcal as haddock. shows I should pay a little more attention next time

One to watch out for yes. But don’t forget that salmon has healthy oils in it (Omega 3 for example) and you’d probably eat a smaller portion because it has a denser “mouth-feel”. It sounds like you’re trying a few new things so good luck with finding more foods to enjoy 👍🏻

I love salmon but do find it so high. frozen from Iceland seems lower the fishmonger 120g can be close to 300 kcal
