had appt with my nutritionist today and she was thrilled with my success! So am I! Although I am losing weight eating 3000 cal per day i am going to drop my intake to 2500 per day. Also my goal is to keep my blood sugar below 120 after meals and walk 10min every other day. I know it sounds like not much, but small steps are adding up to big successes. I will lower my calories and increase exercise as I get smaller. This weekend was a challenge as I was not at home. I was taking care of my diabetic friend who had to have eye surgery. He is losing his sight because of diabetes. Watching him struggle had scared me to death.
