Day 32: Saying Goodbye to a friend.Good luck, best wishes and will miss you!
My favorite train buddy got a new job and we hugged goodbye this morning. I was happy for him and the opportunity for growth, however, I will miss him and chatting about a myriad of subjects. He is very knowledgeable, focused and hard working. When he wants to learn some new technology, he throws himself completely into it until he achieves his objective. His talents are apparent to every one around him except himself.
He thanked me for helping him gain self confidence. What a gift and a reminder to me of how encouraging others can make a difference in their lives.
People will come and go for unknown amounts of time and reasons. Our lives evolve. What we're doing now is all part of a process. We need to let go sometimes to be open for the new.
