Super busy at work today, but I wanted to share two things that have really made me happy in the last few days.

First, I am .2 pounds down this morning from my previously recorded weight from a week ago Saturday. And it isn't a result of getting sloshed last night and waking up dehydrated. That means I can start weighing in on Mondays and know it is based off of actual weight and not dehydration.

Second, I think I found a product that will be a staple in my every day eating. I came across this product at my work, Beveri unflavored protein powder and had purchased it for my mom. She had mentioned that she was mixing it into everything she could... soups, shakes, smoothies, etc. So I decided to buy some for myself as it seemed to be more versitile than the chocolate or vanilla muscle milk I have been consuming lately. Well this stuff is so great, I can literally put it into anything liquid. INCLUDING my coffee. It's not gritty and doesn't alter the flavor. The only thing I have found is that it curdles if the liquid is too hot. I did that all weekend long and again this morning. I think I have gotten more protein in one cup of coffee than I was getting in a whole day previously. I really think the extra protein is what helps me lose the fastest. Hence the reason why I was so successful with Atkins in the past.

Didn't make it to the gym because I slept like crap, but I will be in there bright and early tomorrow. Now, I am off to mix another protein shake. Gonna try it with fruit punch crystal light.... mmmmmm.

Have a good monday everyone!!!

Increasing protein does seem to help with weight loss. I am finding the same thing. Good job!

Sounds like a great product. I can't get into drinking protein shakes, it's like a mental block that drinks don't "fill me up" even if they do haha. Sounds like your added protein is helping! Hope you make it to the gym this morning!!
