After meetings yesterday I knew I was hungry and of course, my work hours are my most challenging time.
I decided to go to Lawry's steakhouse for lunch and have what I usually have, the 12 ounce prime rib with creamed corn, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes with gravy and the yorkshire pudding.
I guess that is one of the reasons I ballooned to 308lbs!
But after sitting down, I looked over the menu and double checked other options and knew I wanted a shrimp cocktail.
I got that and a filet medallions salad.
It was 6 ounces of filet mignon, grilled romaine lettuce, green beens, tomato, artichoke heart, roasted red pepper and roasted red onion.
Was it as good as what I usually get....hell no, but all that and 2 Amstel Light beers was 857 calories.
WIN!
