So many people have inflammation throughout their whole bodies and don't even realize how bad they feel until they start to heal that. I'm very in tune to my body and I knew that I had a lot of systemic inflammation. When I was ready, I cut out everything with flour, wheat, and sugar. I could feel and see my inflammation go away. I don't do "cheat" days, not because I wouldn't enjoy tasting some of my old favorites or I'm afraid of gaining a pound or two of water weight, it's not worth having the inflammation return or feeling that way again. Everyone has to determine what affects them, but cutting out inflammatory foods helps your health in so many ways!

I have a terrible problem with inflammation, even with clean eating. I can push myself through grueling workouts, or strenuous work such as splitting wood all day due to the release on endorphins, but once I set in the evening nothing helps except medicine, and I don't take it, just suffer through it. My wife just shakes her head; she s one who thinks a pill can fix anything. Her WOE, and extremely sedentary lifestyle will lead her to a SMTWTFS pill box, and she will be fine with it. I do eat for anti inflammatory properties, but nothing noticeably helps. Shake it off suck it up and let's roll!

Natural remedies are much better than meds any day! If you can fix it, or at least try, do it without meds whenever possible, IMO.
