This morning I did not take any readings, because I had a professional do them. My cholesterol had not been taken in 10 or 15 or 20 years, so I really have no base line to which to compare to this shocking result. It was a total of 305. Next month, I'll do the full panel. For now, I plan to walk more. Exercise, rather than diet, had always worked for me in the past.

While in line for the free screenings, I showed a woman how loose my pants were, and told a guy how my bg had improved over the last few months. It looks like it will really warm up today, so when I got home, I pulled out a pair of shorts. When I bought these shorts several years ago, they fit just right. I was planning to lose weight, so I made sure that they had a drawstring. Instead of losing, I gained so much that I could not wear the shorts at all! Today, I have to use the drawstring, or they will fall off! Woo Hoo! I may test my swimsuit! It will be warm enough, but I don't think the pool is actually open yet. My camper, however, has an outside shower.
