Why does it seem that when I suffer a minor set back I have to go full metal jacket teenager , pout, throw a fit and rebel against myself? In reality I am not rebelling against the stricture of the diet nor is there anyone other than myself that expects me to behave. So lets look at this. I am overweight.../flip/ I was over weight when I started... + I am LESS over weight than when I started. I found something that works for me... /flip/ I have trouble sticking to it at times...+ I can and have done it so it's possible. Where does the need to EXPLODE out of good habits come from? any ideas?

I don’t know why doing things that are good for us is so difficult but it is😞 I wish I had an answer. I think we all struggle at times. Keep going and get back on track is my only advice. Good luck!

We tend to look at diets as a bland tasteless affair with food, which is why I decided it's not a diet but a lifestyle change and made sure all I eat tastes great and won't settle for less

All the comments sum it up. We all struggle. I don't like the Word diet I like life change and food that taste good but healthier for me. And once a week I have a cheat day but even still I don't go over board and not have discipline over my choices and portions. Sometimes it's harder than others but when I feel and see my results it's worth it all. Stay encouraged.

Thanks for the support - Great point - If we quit cold turkey on how we ate or habits in the past , we know what happens (BINGING, UPTIGHT,take it out on the family or friends - If we eat bad 7 days a week, cut it down to 5 - 5 days to 3 - You have to also give in once in awhile for your guilty pleasures - human - Secondly, you ARE less overweight, going the right way, now it is a matter of time - Tell yourself everyday, I'm on my way, you can't stop me, I am killing this, I will make it , I deserve this and Damn it, I WILL DO THIS !!!!
