FRUSTRATED!! I asked one of the counselors about what I could do to take place of the LA take off juice, because it is way to expensive, and she acted like she had no idea what to do instead of the juice. That just really made me mad, because I know she knew, I could just tell she was lying. I know they are suppose to do all they can to sell LA products, but come on! give me a break! We give them so much money and she cant even help me out just a little, thats crap! Then she said she could give me a 15% discount because of an open house thing they are having. That still means I have to pay $25! Uhhhhggg!!! Can you see my frustration??????? You know they need to seriously bring down their prices on their foods and supplements. That is just the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Sorry but I had to get that out.

I see your frustration. That was bad customer service on her part. I did a little more digging regarding take-off or fast forward and here are a few other suggestions other have used, aside from the oranges: Suggestion 1: breakfast- 1/8 of a cantaloupe 1 slice diet bread w/lite margarine snack- 1/8 of a cantaloupe lunch-3/4 cup egg whites 1 slice of diet bread 1 serving asparagus 1/8 of a cantaloupe snack-yogurt dinner- 3/4 cup egg whites 3 servings asparagus snack-LA lite bar use the other lite when you would like. Every time I do this I always loose around 2 to 4lbs. Its great for plateaus but you can only do it no more than once every two weeks. Suggestion 2: Knudsen's Simply Nutritious Morning Blend juice: Nutrition Facts Serving Size 8 FL. OZ. (240 mL) Calories 130 **Fat Cal. 0 Amount/Serving Total Fat 0g **Saturated Fat 0g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 25mg Potassium 320mg Total Carbohydrate 30g **Dietary Fiber 0g **Sugars 28g Protein 1g Suggestion 3: From another poster: current recipe to recreate LAWL juice (from another member in another thread): 25 oz. Knudsen's Simply Nutritious Morning Blend juice 7 oz. water 4 heaping tsp. Fiber-sure (adds about 5g fiber per 8 oz. of juice) This makes 32 oz. of juice which is enough for one day of TakeOFF. You need to double this to make enough for a 2 day TakeOFF. The nutrition info for this recipe ends up very close to this: I'd really like to see how close this is to the LAWL juice nutrition info. Knudsen's/Fiber-sure juice recipe: Nutrition Facts Serving Size 8 FL. OZ. (240 mL) Calories 127 Fat Cal. 0 Amount/Serving Total Fat 0g Saturated Fat 0g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 20mg Potassium 250mg Total Carbohydrate 29g Dietary Fiber 5g Sugars 22g Protein 1g I hope this helps.

Brandi, I know what you mean about the products being expensive. You doing the take off will help you get back on track but it is different from when you first started and did the juice. This time you only get 6 oz of protein, 2 la lite bars, and two cups of green vegetables. You do this for two days along with the juice. Do you have a Walgreens or a Walmart, you can buy the juice from there, it has the same ingredients as the one from La weightloss but is much cheaper.

Balonzo, I was told to have unlimited proteins and greens. I even asked her am I suppose to have a certain amount of proteins, and she said no, unlimited. I dont think this girl knows what she's talking about. So I only get 6 oz of protein , 2 la lites, and two cups of vegs for just one day? That's not much food at all! I dont think I can do that for 2 days. What is the product called that I can get at Walmart? I can go at lunch time and get it. Thanks so much! Love4life, I also wanted to thank you too for comment. I might try your suggestions too! I know I just need to do something. Thanks ladies!!

I dont give them an extra dime.......period. You don't want to know how much I paid for 180 pounds to lose. I told them I am allergic to the juice (to one ingredient) so I have never done it. With the new plan, the new counselor that I just saw yesterday said I can do the take off, which is slightly different than the old one I guess. For the juice I will substitute 1/8 of a medium cantaloupe for the drink. This would mean I eat one cantaloupe in two days. I think the protein is like six ounces total with 2 ounces at each serving....or something like that. Would need to look it up in my book which I left at home this morning. Unlimited greens, I think. I think the LA lites (which I don't do) they suggested 1/2 servings instead of eating the whole thing at once.

No problem, the juice is called the Hollywood diet, at Walgreens it goes on sale sometimes for two for 15.00. Look on Walgreens.com and see if it is on sale right now. Here is the hollywood diets website.http://www.hollywooddiet.com/ if you don't find it at walmart or walgreens. It is also called the celebrity diet also, I believe. I think the plan might have changed where you can have unlimited greens now but still only 6 oz of protein a day. Let me know if you find it Brandi.

I just went to Walmart, just to see what kind of drink you may have been talking about and I did find the Hollywood diet, and I was hoping that's not what you were talking about. I tried it several years ago, and I just couldn't stomach it. It was awful tasting. I even took it back to the store to get a refund, which they let me. I remember when I got the Take off juice from LA when I started, and I was just praying that it didnt taste like Hollywood, and luckily it didnt, it was tolerable. Thanks Balonzo for the tip, but there's no way I can drink that stuff. I'll have to do cantalope or something...yikes!!!!

Yeah -- the only time you get unlimited proteins and green veggies is at the VERY beginning. When you do it again, you are limited to a TOTAL of 6 ounces of protein (2 oz. per main meal is the suggestion), and, be careful just what proteins you chose....the low fat fish, LEAN beef, only white meat for the poultry. There's a list of green veggies you can have: asparagus, bok choy, broccoli, abbage, celery, chard, collard greens, cucumber, green onions, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, green peppers, snow peas, spinach, string beans, sugar snap peas, swiss chard, zucchini. And they do suggest you do your LA Lites split, so you have half of one, 4 times a day. Keep drinking LOT of water -- 6-8 glasses a day laura
