Peasy3's Journal, 19 February 2018

I am down another pound this morning, but I'm not going to make it official until Wednesday. I got one of the fancy scales that tells you your BMI and body fat, and well - it's telling me I'm still "fat", lol. I thought my body fat would be closer to 25 but it's at 27. That's ok, I feel good and know I still have a couple of pounds of fat to shed. I will get there.

I went to a friend's birthday party and the food that was available was bread, popcorn, chips, nacho cheese, cupcakes, pies and brisket. I was really good and just at the brisket, with a few jalapenos on top. I asked my husband if we could go through In and Out on the way home for a protein burger and he was very supportive. Both of my girls are grown adults, so it has been a long time since I have had little ones around. My good friend's have a 1 year old, and I am the only one besides her parents that she will let hold her. I think it's because I have been around since she was born. She loves when I throw her up in the air and swing her around like "super baby". I must have held her for 3 hours. Even though I have been doing boot camp regularly, I woke up with a sore back and arms. I forgot how much of an upper body workout babies are! We drove through and got our protein burgers and that thing tasted amazing. I was very proud of the Mr. he ordered the same thing I did.

This is the week of my ladies getaway trip. I leave in a couple of days and I will not be eating low carb for a couple of days, but I will get right back on track when I get home.
