Pizza was cancelled. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. My sister is not feeling well, but I will not be faced with breaking keto with a crust that has 51 grams of carbohydrates per slice. Maybe next week, I can convince my sister to make the cauliflower crust she made once. Her husband liked it. My dad, however, will be a much harder sell. He is 93 with a razor sharp mind and definite opinions.
I stayed home and made myself a keto salmon dish from Diet Doctor. It looked like mush, so I did not take a picture of the stir fried deliciousness. This morning, my ketones were 1.7mm and my bg was 104 mg. I am glad that I did not have to sacrifice my improving numbers on the alter of family peace.
I need to get down to the office before is closes so that I can lift weights. The sky is grey with periods of precipitation, so no one wants to walk. Instead of a total fast, I may just stretch my eggs and veggies and severely limit the calories and carbohydrates for seven days. I'll decide tomorrow when I don't go shopping.
