Wooo Hooo for Fridays and 3 day weekends!!! Gonna be a busy one for me!

Actually made it to spin this morning. I kinda miss the after feeling, so I think I need to reincorporate it in my workouts. At least one day a week. I am surprised though that I can actually sit down. You forget just how hard and uncomfortable those seats are until you are back on one. Didn't get as much done with weights as I wanted because of chit chatting with the new friend and the spin instructor after class, but I did get in at least one set of shoulder presses, chest presses, pushups and low rows before hitting the shower.

Gotta be good with my eating today (even though my fat intake has been OUTTA CONTROL the last few days). One of my fiance's friends is moving to Cleveland and his going away party is tonight at some dive bar that is 40 minutes from my house. Good news though is since we will need a DD to get there and back, I will be limiting my alcohol consumtion to 1-2 beers.

Tomorrow is my surrogate little sister's wedding. Her older sister was my best friend for almost 10 years. Unfortunately her life choices have caused us to drift apart - or send me running for the hills.
Note to the crowd: Drugs are bad mmmkay. I still see her from time to time (when her head isn't gunked up with oxy, meth or whatever her drug of choice is at that time) but she is a shell of the strong willed woman she used to be. Not to mention untrustworthy, just by nature of being a drug addict. I am excited to see her but at the same time, not. She has apparently left the jerk that got her mixed up in this shit and has been living with her mom, supposedly clean and sober. The sad thing is I know she still hasn't gotten back to be the friend that I cherished so dearly. But this is a happy occasion and I am so proud of and happy for her sister. Should be a good time, even if it hurts my heart a little. And I am hoping my niece and nephew will be there. They live with "the jerks" parents because they were taken away about 2 years ago. I haven't seen them in quite a while and I miss them terribly. I haven't decided how I will be handling the food and alcohol situation at the wedding, I may end up just winging it.

Sunday and Monday should be pretty low key. Maybe a lake/river trip, hopefully a hike, some kind of exercise since my gym will be closed on Monday. I just have to keep my eye on my liquor consumption.

Last but not least, a full pound down today! Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Great job on the pound down!! I hope you have fun at the wedding. It's too bad that people have to make such bad choices and don't really see what it's does to them and how it hurts the people who really care about them. Have a good weekend, even with the limited alcohol consumption! :)
