Servings: 8
Ingredients 4 medium slices crumbled bacon (Hormel bacon pieces) not bacon bits 4 cups chopped broccoli florets (raw) bite size pieces 1/2 cup, chopped red onion (optional) 1/2 cup, shredded shredded cheddar (2%) 1/4 cup, sliced almonds (sliced and toasted) 1 cup Mayonnaise 2 tbsps white vinegar 8 servings 1 packet sugar substitute (1/2 cup of splenda, or equivalent to that of packets) Directions Wash and cut broccoli into bite size pieces. In small bowl, combine mayo, vinegar and splenda. Pour over broccoli. Add cheese, crumbled bacon, almonds, and onion. Toss all together. Cover and refrigerate. Yummy!!
Member Recipe: Oven roasted Cauliflower Cauliflower roasted in the oven with olive oil and spices. Yum!!
Servings: 6
Ingredients 1 head, medium cauliflower 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp Mrs. Dash Table Blend or any mix of spices you like. 1 dash pepper Directions Preheat oven to 425. Wash and cut cauliflower into bite size pieces. drain well. Toss in olive oil and put in large baking dish. sprinkle seasonings all over. Bake for about 30 minutes or until tender and browned
