I'm starting on a new path this year. I did the exercise thing last year and lost but when my hubbys job contract ran out I quit going to work outs. I have decided that I need to do both exercise and weight watchers. Weight watchers because it seems the most sane to me. I am heavy at 195 taking meds for diabetes and such. I just need a new do over and am going to work towards this. But I am having problems with portion control. Anyone have ideas on how to portion things out to match points correctly?

I keep a scale on my counter and weigh everything, it helps me know what portions should look like when we are eating out. I also use a salad plate for most meals.

Thank you for your ideas. I think I need to get me a scale to measure a few things as I know I am way off target on most of the things I eat.

Welcome! I do most of the cooking at home so I will fix/weigh out my plate before I tell the hubby and kiddo that dinner is ready (hehe for being selfish). You can do it!
