My initial weight was 136 when I started 'dieting' on June 15th by going low-carb. I lost 5# right off the bat and have been stuck around 132 since the end of June. I decided to try a low glycemic type diet on July 9th and my doc recommended 'South Beach' due to my cholesterol levels. I am not considered overweight by the charts but the weight I gain goes straight to my mid-section and the doc says that is 'not good', so, here I am, trying to get in better health. So far, I see the scales move south 1#!!
