Day 13: Day of Rest and Evening of Anarchy

Make A Plan Stan

Developing new habits is affecting all aspects of my life. It's not comfortable to be in my comfort zone any more and I choose not to be at every opportunity. Whenever the occasion arises when I want to put something off, I stop myself from avoiding it, and jump right in. Just do it.

Tonight, I had to miss a running clinic, due to an internet marketing seminar "team huddle. Perhaps it worked out for the best so I didn't hurt myself running every day. By next week I will have more stamina. I left work early to go to a swimming retail outlet that sells prescription goggles for only $18 so I can wear them to the swim clinic tomorrow night. How perfect to be able to swim and see. Thank you "Barracuda" triathlete teammate for the suggestion.

As I get home, the anarchy sets in. Raising twin teenagers is a job in itself, and it's my favorite work ever, most of the time. As parents, we are only as happy as our least happy child. There will be phone calls with the school tomorrow and consequences. They also know if they mess up they need to fess up. The bottom line is that the kids know I have their backs and I love them.

My internet marketing seminar started at 7PM and we talked about strategy and where given assignments to create a 3, 6, 9 and 12 month plan. I believe this is how it gets done. Putting the ideas out there with specific timelines and goals. It works for me every time.

A good night's sleep sounds real good and tomorrow is another day.
