Decided to up my goal weight by 5 pounds for 2 reasons:
1. Vanity--been getting lots of compliments on how pretty my face looks since I gained a few pounds back (people don't seem to notice the pounds--just the face). One of my friends told me this story about Marilyn Monroe: she said that there comes a time in every woman's life when she has to choose between her face and her ass. At age 68.5 I am going for the face.
2. Health--also recently learned that people in my age group are at risk if they weigh too little. In my case I should not weigh less that 137.5 pounds by the BMI scale. When my goal weight was 140 I flirted around the danger zone on many occasions without realizing it--trying to stay below 140. With a goal weight of 145 I am more likely to stay within the 140-145 range, putting my health at lower risk.
