What can I say? The holidays! Back on the wagon starting today--already feeling better. It was fun, but time to come back to reality--which means none of the tempting stuff in the house. Still delicious food, just very nutritious and not binge-worthy. Not unhappy with myself, just feeling realistic and know I can get it back. The good news: started a fitness program a few weeks ago with the help of a personal trainer and did not skip one session on my whole vacation! Can now run 20 minutes easily without stopping--much stronger, better posture and balance, endurance. All of my kids (former athletes) joined me and were impressed--I outlasted all of them! They have been shamed (not by me--by themselves and each other) into regaining their fitness so they can keep up with their soon-to-be 70 year old mom!
