Anyone have any advice on vegetarian food that has helped them lose weight? I've been doing great and sticking to keto, but the fat has not kept my appetite down the past few days. So, I started eating larger portions to trigger the sensation that I have food in my belly. I've been doing an omelette for breakfast with a Caesar salad- very high fat/ high calorie but it makes me feel full/ satisfied in a great way without negative reprocussions. This diet would be so much easier if I ate meat, but I don't- and so I eat lots of dairy- because it tastes good, it has fat, and has protein. Has anyone experienced reducing dairy and it making an extreme difference? Oh man, I love cheese! And Coffee in the morning with cream is so good! I haven't been logging my food lately, just got back into it. The holidays made it difficult just because I'd have to spend so much time adding in recipes for everything I ate. And then there were the leftovers- yum! But I stayed tried and true to keto. I have been trying to stick to less than 120 g fat, less than 20 g net carbs, less than 60 g protein, and 1400 calories or so. I think I ate like 2000 calories yesterday but I lost a pound today from yesterday. Bodies are so intricate and difficult to figure out. I've been really active lately too. It feels like I lose weight when I have days where I sit most of the day, and then I gain weight when I work out in the yard or do anything that causes inflammation and soreness in the body. Maybe it's just muscle atrophy vs gaining muscle. I don't know. Anyway, support and advice is really appreciated! I've been struggling to get down past 190 for some time now. It's a bit of a bummer if I think about it. Most days I try not to. Much love to everyone! And anyone in California LA area- much love and prayers to you! I'm from Cali originally- riverside, Simi Valley, Santa Monica, Lake Elsinore- lived all over the place and my friends and family are still there being threatened by the fires, so my prayers go out to all who are going through or watching their loved ones go through this scary time. ❤️
