myron-'s Journal, 17 November 2017

I posted this in Emilygu’s journal entry but decided to take it down because I felt it was not answering her question, but rather imposing my view on a particular fasting method. So instead I will share it here in my entry and hope it will help others that are open to better understanding the effects of time, food and body.

There are better ways of fasting. And a powerful one is Time-Restriction. Cutting food consumption to a window of 9hours where clock starts at initial intake.

Following your nutrition regimen (hoping that the choices of food are of good nutritional value) and ending at the point of the 9hour window will drastically improve metabolic process and improve overall healing of body.

The science behind this is, humans are diurnal creatures, and our bodies work most efficiently during the day, as where at night, we’re preparing for recharge and so our enzymes and hormones work in a way different than daytime to metabolize the food consumed. Having snacks or juice after the window, disrupts the metabolic process by having to breakdown food again, limiting the proper essential cycle of the metabolic process done during sleep. This is what causes weight gain. Improper metabolic rhythm. Throwing all your hard work out the window.

So you now have a 9-12hour interval of nutritious meal consumption where your body’s enzymes metabolizes stuff efficiently. And are now able to cycle through its metabolic process in full, giving the body what it needs to function at optimal levels.

The (+) side outweighs the (-) sides. You’ll have: increase in vitality (more energy), constant weight loss, more endurance during workouts, clear supple skin, healthy hair and nails, youthful looks, and a strong immune system which in turn, wards off illness. Many many more benefits to this.

This is what has worked for me and wanted to share, for there are many articles and things about intermittent fasting, this one was (for me) by far the best. But in truth, it wasn’t easy and is where one’s industriousness is tested. It’s the question of “how accountable can I be?”...Tough, but rest assured future you with that size (insert desired size here) dress on is waiting and can’t wait to greet you. And for men, he is shirtless on the beach with no worries in the world.
