Yesterday was the test of all tests. I attended a crawfish festival and I had to use every ounce of will power to avoid roasted corn, deep fried twinkies, deep fried snickers bars and funnel cakes. I opted for a sausage on a stick and beef fajita with no tortilla.

Oh, wow, you didn't eat the mudbugs?! I lived in Bossier City for 9 years and I sure miss the crawfish! I can live without the sweets, I can even live without the dirty rice, but I sure miss the spicy meats and seafoods!

I like crawfish, but don't like the work involved, plus the line for them was so long. I have a major sweet tooth...before this WOE, I would have sampled all of the deep fried goodies. I now use an Atkins bar or shake, a cheescakey recipe or some berries to get my fix ;)
