I screwed up. One year after having gastric bypass surgery, I weighed 164 lbs and was on my way to my goal of 135. Somehow, in the next year, I lost my way and slacked both on diet and exercise. At my two year checkup, I weighed 182 lbs. I had gained back 18 lbs. My surgeon was mad at me and managed to make me cry in his office. But that shaming worked because I am back on track diet and exercise-wise. I've already managed to lose 3 of those pounds and I hope to be back at 164 (or close to it) by the time I see him again at that end of August.
