been on this low carb thing for 10 days now and lost 2 pounds joined akins face book site to everyone says are you doing this and that i have the list of food to follow im frustraited
178.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Hi Marie, Don't get discouraged, this is a real learning curve and every person is different. I found that keeping a journal of my food AND logging everything here really did help. You can see where you might be making mistakes. Your body will turn loose of the weight..just hang in there. I love the Atkins Community site..I have gotten so much help there. I found that I really can't have much cheese or cream...they stall my weight loss, same with the Atkins bars and shakes--they are yummy but I stall if I start eating them. Give it some time, I'm sure you'll do ok. I wish you all the luck.

I'm sure they're just trying to be helpful, as it often takes a bit of time for each person to get comfortable with the Atkins program. Over on the Atkins site, hopefully you saw the tutorial you can go through for Phase 1, Induction. By going through that, at your own pace, you can get the information that will - hopefully - help you get over some of the frustration you're feeling. Once you begin to log in your foods, we can all take a closer look to see if there are any hints we could pass along to you that would help you in your journey. Congratulations on the loss of 2 pounds already....I only lost 3 in my first couple weeks....wish I would have found this site way back then....I think I would have done better. Welcome!
