So the past 2 weeks I have been going a little crazy on eating all the "bad foods" I love. Once you start it's hard to stop. One of my coworkers mentioned that we should start fasting because she too would like to shed some pounds. I haven't really gained a lot of weight back from my last weigh in (187.8) and I gained about 2 pounds (189.8). Even with eating all the "bad foods" I still stayed true to logging all my foods and allowed myself no more than 150g carbs a day and I still managed to keep my calorie intake at less than 1500 calories of the daily allowed amount for me which is 2200cal per day. I didn't go too crazy on over indulging but what I was eating tasted so good.

So today (Monday, September 18) I am starting my fast and I purchased the Amazing Grass Green Superfood (8.5 oz container) to get me through this 1 week fast she challenged me to. It is loaded with a lot of fresh greens, fruits, veggies, and superfoods to keep me going. I'll start out with this week and see how I do and if I want to keep going then I'll push myself to do 2 weeks. I want to challenge myself to see how I will feel purging myself of all the "bad foods" I so love and to also see how much weight I will lose on this fast during this week. This morning I started out with a cup of ginger tea with lemon, apple cider vinegar, and honey. So all of my other meals of the day will only consist of the green superfood. It looks like quite a few of us 'took a break' the last couple of weeks. No problem...just get that resolve back, and get back on it. I'll be interested to see how you do with the green superfood.

@mskestrela - yes we sure have but we all will come back stronger than ever. It's just a matter of seeing where you want to make some changes to do things better than we did before. I will keep making journal entries of my progress throughout the week. Thank you for the support.
