859klm's Journal, 15 September 2017

Well the last time I weighed myself I was up exactly a pound so now I've logged it. no idea where it is today.

This is my 3rd week into the job I finally started. I'm looking at my daily intake and output of caloric energy now and I'm actually having a hard time getting time to eat the amount I need to get nutrition and not have too severe a deficit.
shorter shifts get only 15 min breaks for 6 hrs! so no time for anything but a pre prepared snack or protein bar.
I did do some food prep bit only enough for 3-4 days of nutritional small meals or side dishes.
Next 3 days are 8+ hrs and I will get a 30 min lunch period (off the clock/unpaid) and hopefully the 15 min too, if they remember to schedule them in.

Truthfully, I'm not healthy enough to work the shifts but that has to be worked out later at some near future date. I've been exercising every other day but that is even more than I can handle at the moment.
I like the work a lot and its been low volume as the dept is newly implemented and budding and expected to grow fast. I'll barely have time or wellness to cook or prepare foods for next 3 days© that's an where my beat laid plans can go wonky.
I need to find healthy alternatives that won't eat up the part time paycheck LOL
I like the department and the people seem great, so that's a big blessing right there.
I'm not giving up. I've started a 30 day plan for exercise and after 12 days I can feel more strength and i want more of that pleas !?
so I'm just trying to chug along and weather the initial shock to my fortitude and find an even keel.
rambling here. sorry . time to shut the lights and regroup for tomorrow

I miss the more frequent xhwxknins here but life stuff is happening.

beat wishes to any and all affected by the weather events. Godspeed. to you.
