I have been the same up until a few weeks ago I lost all focus and will power it is soooooo frustrating and disheartening. I read Dr Jason Fungs Obesity Code (free download) and this gave me a bit of a kick start. Don't despair you've had a tough time lately due to your health. It does take it's toll but you can do this you know you can. Perhaps looking at your journal from when you were really on your game it might give you some inspiration. Good luck and chin up 😁

Hi keats06, it's understandable that you feel tired and fed up, you have had gone through quite a lot over the last month or so. I expect that your body is just having a little hissy fit and telling you that it needs a little more time to get over the op and get back to normal. I think the suggestion of having a look at your journal is worthwhile. You could maybe picking a number of meals that you really like, at the moment calorie counting is not what you need, l am not saying pile up the plate and gorge yourself but having good balanced meals to help repair your body. This will also give you a chance to reassess how you want to restart your journey. Remember as well as repairing your body after an operation you also have to give time to wellbeing and mind, these may take just a smigging longer to come to terms with what you have just gone through. The bottom line is that they are all linked and if one is not right it has a tendency to throw us of course. Please don't get to upset with the small gain you have seen. Getting upset will only feed the feelings you are experiencing and make everything seem worse than it really is. Take a few days off and have a look at everything again when you feel up to it. Keep updating your journal and let us know how you are doing. We all wish you well and look forward to you feeling stronger and much better.
