Another day, another hurdle. Groceries and house cleaning are on the menu. Nothing exciting, just the little bits of maintenance that keep everything rolling along.
Anyone have anything exciting panned for the long weekend?

I wish I could say I had a lot of fun plans this weekend, but alas I don't. I work today, tomorrow, and even on Monday so the times I am not at work, I'll just wing it, lol. If anything, my "in-laws" may have picnic with a campfire, but we'll see.

Harkins Theaters are celebrating their 84th "birthday" with $5 movie tickets all weekend. Going to go see Patti Cake$ tomorrow night. Going to the Mercury game on Sunday and SLEEPING in on Monday. Happy Labor Day y'all.

I should try. Thanks for reminder. Right now I'm amid lovely trappings, relative comfort, could look enviable on Instagram or FB were I on those platforms and if I wanted to present a highly edited image, but nothing is fun. (Health etc problems, visa delays, complications not obvious to casual observer.) Sometimes I do find a niche film "festival" (series, really, in a deteriorating theater) and lock in a weekend of relative escape. Will see if anything like that is running. -- Was planning to make konjac pizza crust tomorrow and go all-out on toppings, but I doubt I'll care to cook. Glad to have chicken cooked ahead.
